PRIVACY NOTICE
Last updated: September 2026
1. Who we are
The Best Country in the World is operated by Juicy marketing ltd. For the personal data described in this notice, Juicy marketing ltd is the data controller — we decide why and how your data is processed.
2. What we collect
- Usage data — pages viewed, countries selected, interactions with the map and ranking, approximate device and browser information, and IP address.
- Purchase references — the country you supported, the number of pixels, and a transaction reference. Your payment details (card number, billing data) are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card details.
- Support messages — if you contact us, we keep the message and your contact details to respond.
The Service does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to browse or vote.
3. Why we use it (and legal basis)
- Providing the Service — crediting pixels to the right country and showing the live ranking (performance of a contract).
- Security and fraud prevention — detecting payment abuse and protecting the ranking's integrity (legitimate interests).
- Product improvement — understanding how the Service is used (legitimate interests).
- Customer support — answering your questions (performance of a contract / legitimate interests).
- Legal obligations — keeping records where the law requires it (legal obligation).
4. Who we share it with
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of pixels, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Service providers — hosting, database, and analytics providers that process data on our behalf.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
- Authorities — where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — purchase records for the period required by tax and accounting law, support messages until the matter is resolved, and usage data for a limited period. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Depending on your country, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, contact us via the support options shown at checkout. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; we respond to requests within one month.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access — to protect your data.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage to keep the Service working (for example, remembering a pending purchase confirmation). If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent and explain how to manage your preferences. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.
10. Contact
Privacy questions or requests: contact Juicy marketing ltd via the support options shown at checkout.
